How to Apply Eye Shadow

Most people think that you should match your eye shadow with what your wearing, but you should actually match it to your eye color to highlight the color of your eyes. Shadow tone chart:

Blue eyes: soft pinks, peach, super light blues, and soft, light purples

Brown eyes: olive green, light golds, light shimmery browns

Green eyes: light purples, golds, browns

Hazel eyes: grays and mauve

Start by applying a little of the lightest shade right under your brow line to highlight it. Then, avoiding the inner corner, apply the medium color evenly on your eyelid. Lastly, to define the shape of your eye, apply the darkest shade around the crease; blend the shades where they meet.
